Cardiff City : 11,000 tickets already sold for next season !

Despite finishing bottom of the Championship, synonymous with relegation to League One, the fans seem ready for the new season with one objective in mind: a return to the Championship

Cardiff City Stadium is already a third full, even though the season only starts in August. One of the main reasons for this is the desire among Blue Birds fans to get back on their feet. The appointment three days ago of new coach Brian Barry-Murphy, a 46-year-old former assistant coach at Leicester.

However, on the transfer front, a number of players have left due to the end of their contracts, including Aaron Ramsey, the player who finished the season as coach in an unsuccessful bid to keep the club in the Championship. Although the mercato began on 16 June, no new arrivals have yet been recorded.

The first warm-up match will take place on Tuesday 15 July at Huish Park against Yeovil Town, a 5th division club.
